That's a wrap on Amazon Port at Cannes Lions. Thank you to everyone who joined us. It was a full and exciting week of connecting with customers, partners, and a few special guests along the way, like Oprah at our Leaders Summit. What a week! Who is still buzzing from a week in Cannes at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity? Here’s my little recap too for GTO (Gap TeamOmnicom). Our first stop was OMD breakfast with Spotify at Spotify Beach, where Damon Berger joined us for an inspiring discussion on what it means tobuild modern brands and become part of the moments, rituals, fandoms and communities people actively choose. From audio to AI, creators toculture: relevance is earned — we all agreed..... more

Later Amy Hyland and I had the privilege of listening to Oprah Winfrey at Amazon Ads’ Leaders Summit. She spoke about The Seat of the Soul by
Gary Zukav and a concept that became my red thread for the entire week: Intention.
As Oprah said, intention is part of the cause itself — you can’t separate the action from the intention behind it. Ultimately, the outcome is a
reflection of that intention.
It made me think differently about why I was in Cannes and, even more importantly, about the intention behind the brands we’re building at Gap
Inc.
Meena Anvary spoke about being intentional in balancing lower- and upper-funnel investment, with equal focus on fast-moving and slow-moving
KPIs.
Fabiola Torres talked about being intentional in who the brand reaches — continually recruiting new customers through music, creators and culture
that feel genuinely relevant. One of my favorite takeaways from her was that every brand wants to be invited to the party, but the best brands are
intentional about which party they choose to attend.
Pam Kaufman painted a compelling vision of what’s next: the next generation of partnerships will blur the lines between media, retail and
entertainment. The most exciting stores won’t just showcase products — they’ll invite people into stories, turning brands like Gap and platforms
like Netflix into shared cultural experiences. We are looking forward to what’s next Doug Brodman, Sean Reitman!
That vision echoed what Richard Dickson has been saying about Gap’s reinvention in an interview with Brian Sozzi: create better products, tell
better stories, build cultural relevance — and let that flywheel keep turning.
Although we didn’t bring home a Lion this year, I couldn’t have been prouder to celebrate our Media Lion nomination for Best Use of Creators
with Gap’s better in denim KATSEYE campaign, which generated more than 8 billion views and showed what’s possible when creativity, culture
and creators come together.
The same intentionality was reflected in Omnicom’s own announcements. As we marked six months since bringing IPG businesses together, we
announced partnerships with Netflix, Snowflake and leading streaming and technology partners — all aimed at creating more relevant, contextual
experiences powered by AI, data and premium content.
And, as they say, what happens in Cannes, stays in Cannes. Ricardo Neto, Jill Weinstein of Acast — thank you for an unforgettable closing night!!!

With Prime Day happening this week, it was particularly exciting to discuss the future of Retail Media, hear about the
innovations Amazon is currently working on, and work on our service and software offering for the future.
And one highlight was definitely the Amazon Leader's Summit – thanks a lot for the invite!
We'll definitely be back next year.

The WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association) had an incredible week at Cannes. But my favorite moments weren’t just the panels or theparties (although that Fanatics mansion was unreal!) They were the conversations, the collaborations, the unexpected run-ins, and sharing it all withpeople who inspire me. Here are my top five....... more

1️⃣ SPORT BEACH delivered all week long. 🏖 From joining The Trade Desk roundtable hosted by Elle Duncan to recording with Damaune
Journey for 72andSunny, and sharing the stage with Olympian Tara Davis-Woodhall and Jacie deHoop (thank you Sherry Pitkofsky), the energy of
the space was contagious.
2️⃣ Oprah. ✨ Hearing Oprah Winfrey speak at the Amazon Ads Leaders Summit was one of those unforgettable experiences. Her perspective on
leadership, purpose, and storytelling was incredibly inspiring… and yes, she shook my hand!!! 🤯
3️⃣ A meaningful honor from The DealmakeHers 🧡 I was incredibly honored to be recognized as one of the Most Inspirational Women during a
gorgeous event by Chase Media Solutions and Lauren Griewski. Thank you Stacy Berns for creating a community that celebrates and elevates
women across our industry.
4️⃣ Hosting our first-ever WNBA Unstoppable presented by Deloitte in Cannes 🏀 We brought our signature women’s sports business summit to
life at The Female Quotient beach — Phil Cook’s fireside chat with Sue Bird was amazing and it was an honor to host an incredible discussion with
Scott Mager, Joon Silverstein and Stacey Reherman about the WNBA’s next era and the opportunities ahead for brands. Looking forward to
continuing the discussion later this month at All Star in Chicago! Huge thanks to Deloitte, Kori A. Green, Coach, Procter & Gamble, and everyone
who helped bring this vision to life.
5️⃣ Sharing it all with friends. ❤ I highly recommend bringing your BFFs to Cannes - the ultimate travel hack! I am the absolute luckiest to be able
to celebrate the wins and make life long memories with some of the most important women in my life. (and big thanks to Evan Starkman too!)
Feeling incredibly grateful for the conversations, the partnerships, the unexpected moments, and everyone who continues to believe in the power
and potential of women’s sports.
Until next year, Cannes. 🇫🇷
